Job Description

Job Purpose & Accountabilities
The E-commerce Coordinator is responsible for merchandise received, stocked and expediting the processing of orders. Projects work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet/exceed HBC's ecommerce service standards and to achieve overall building objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of product to ensure the timely and accurate processing of merchandise through the logistics center
  • Leads all outbound related activities on a daily basis
  • Develop daily plans to ensure forecasts and productivity objectives are met
  • Daily review and maintenance of required reports
  • Reinforce and demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude through support and enforcement of health and safety policies
  • Manage assigned area and ensure all orders are picked and shipped according to company standards
  • Identify and resolve order issues and ensure shipping deadlines for these orders are met
  • Ensure appropriate management levels are aware of problem trends so corrective measures can be implemented
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Maintain the work area to a high standard of organization and cleanliness
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

 Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school education. Prefer candidate with some post secondary education. 2-3 years of experience in a retail, wholesale, or direct to consumer inventory control function, preferably in an automated environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail distribution experience (business or consumer)
  • Familiar with RF technology
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong sense of urgency and the capacity to accomplish results while under pressure
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of Manhattan/WMS is an asset
  • Cross train and work for other departments as required
  • Must have understanding of English language both written and verbal
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) intermediate to advanced knowledge is required.
  • Dependable, work with a sense of urgency; Flexible in work hours
  • Essential, sustainable physical requirements include: standing/walking for long periods of time, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, climbing ladders/stairs
