What This Position Is All About:
The Distribution Center IT Manager will lead the delivery of technical support services to all HBC Distribution Centers including providing prompt, and reliable technical support for computers, mobile devices, Scanners/RF Guns, Printers and all other technology used in our DCs. These daily support functions generally require immediate response and resolution. The support portfolio includes software, applications, hardware, and mobile device support. The Manager will be accountable for maintaining maximum uptime of all End User Supported hardware, software and peripherals. The Manager will be responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining technology standards and ensuring established policies and procedures are adhered to. The Manager will develop a world-class support team and foster effective communications between the support teams, users and upper management. The Manager will create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures as it applies to the DC Support teams. The Manager will develop and standardize the support models across all North American DCs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strength managing the daily operations of a Logistic Center IT Support or Desktop Support team.
