What This Position is All About:
Under the direction of the President, the Director of Stores for Hudson�s Bay is a strategic member of the executive team, with full profit and loss accountability for the function, including increasing comparable store sales and bottom-line profit. The Director of Stores will build and lead a high performance organization focused on sales and customer service, develop and lead company-wide initiatives and projects, and strategize with other shared services in the organization to facilitate continued growth and success.

You Also Have:
  • Bachelor�s Degree, preferably in business
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal partners
  • The ability to deliver results against goals build effective and motivated teams, foster teamwork, and demonstrate sound business judgment
  • 15+ years of retail and operational experience, specifically in field operations, workforce management, and communications
As the Director of Stores, You Will:
  • Build and lead a high-performance selling organization, with a focus on transforming the in-store experience through service and operational excellence
  • Lead the field leadership team as well as the Service Excellence and Operations teams
  • Assist with long range planning and strategy
  • Develop operational plans and policies for Hudson�s Bay stores
  • Drive operational excellence in stores by creating consistent and efficient back of house standards across the entire store fleet
  • Collaborate with digital and IT teams to refine omni-channel strategies to continuously deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience that spans both online and stores
  • Manage store opening, expansion, relocation and closing process to ensure consistent execution
  • Effectively partner with shared services teams � Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, and Visual Presentation
  • In partnership with Merchant teams, analyze product results across all departments and locations  to discern successes and opportunities and action plan to continue growth or course correct where needed
  • Analyze customer survey data and actively seek input from teams to ensure consistent adherence to service standards, and create solutions to address gaps and/or continue positive growth
