What This Position Is All About:


As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing testing within a specific team and/or initiative while actively contributing as a hands-on expert.  You will design and develop effective test plans and strategies, drive test execution and collaborate with cross-functional team.  You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic development environment.  You will provide guidance; mentor and train team members as well as manage consultants to ensure delivery of quality products.

Who You Are:

  • Master�s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of QA experience, OR Bachelors� degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 5 years of QA experience.
  • 5 years of experience in using and administering test case management applications such as HP Quality Center, ALM, Jira, etc.
  • 4 years of experience in integration testing (message queues, REST API, SOAP API, db).
  • 4 years of experience in SQL (intermediate to advanced level skills).
  • Hands-on experience in test tool evaluation (performance or functional automation).
  • Experience in Test Automation.
  • In depth knowledge of test life cycle processes in the context of waterfall the Agile SDLC.
  • Extensive experience in test case definition for system and end to end testing.
  • Experience in creating status reports for various audiences (project teams, project stakeholders).
  • Excellent interaction and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience in Performance Testing.


As The QA Lead, You Will:

  • Provide manager-testing estimates.
  • Manage and assign projects/tasks to QA resources.
  • Providing test status reports project team as required.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, leads, and technical experts to understand business requirements, review technical designs, and request additional information to complete required deliverables.
  • Frequent meetings with project team to provide status, solicit questions, and confirm daily/weekly plan.
  • Review all testing deliverables to ensure quality.
  • Provide QA support for scheduled deployments.
  • Provide input to the QA testing portfolio.
  • Integrate automated tests into overall testing strategy and execute automated tests.
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Work on multifaceted issues requiring deep examination of situations and in-depth evaluation of data.
  • Guide and mentor junior testing resources.
  • Work with project team and QA management in developing and executing test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.
  • Assist with the creation and use of standard QA reporting metrics.
  • Assist with the execution and remediation of test cases.
