What This Position Is All About:

This role will serve as the beauty expert representing a specific Cosmetics brand. The Beauty Ambassador Manager is responsible for coordinating all sales generating activities for the assigned brand through planning product launches, events and training Beauty Ambassadors and Beauty Guides (BG�s). Provide service by listening to the client, giving them advice on skin care, makeup and fragrances they can trust. Offer recommendations of products from assigned brand and any brand that is a best fit for their individual needs and requests. Increase the number of new customers in Cosmetics and Fragrances shopping assigned brand and all brands the customer is interested in. Build and maintain strong relationships with all cosmetics associates and other store associates to develop new clients. Participate in total store and plan cosmetics department outreach programs and events to increase new customer acquisitions and develop new clients. Collaborate with the Cosmetics Sales Manager to identify opportunities to achieve sales goal through events and promotions. The Beauty Ambassador Manager may lead one or more Beauty Ambassadors. Must be a team leader, highly organized and an excellent communicator.

As the Beauty Ambassador Manager, You Will:

  • Productivity Expectations
    • Achieve 100% of sales target

  • Managing Others
    • Partner with SM to create a positive work environment and motivate/develop staff to improve retention
    • Communicate and monitor sales/IPT/clientelling plans and train BG�s how to improve performance
    • Train/develop Ambassadors and BG�s on product knowledge/selling techniques, cross train department on key products and foster a team environment
    • Ensure Ambassadors and BG�s plan and implement special events daily to promote sales
    • Role play selling/consultation skills with Ambassadors and BG�s
    • Motivate Ambassadors and BG�s to leverage available technology to increase customer experience
  • Training Others
    • Partner with SM and vendor AE to conduct internal department PK training for all BGs every 60 days.
    • Plan specific training to occur at strategic times aligned with new product launches and major events, National MUAs, GWPs.
    • Train BGs to book goaled customer appointments for events.
    • Train BGs how to pre sell and achieve their individual pre sell goals for each event and GWP.

  • Client Development
    • Develop and add new clients to the Client file system each week
    • Contact existing customers for follow up each week
  • Event Execution
    • Develop in � store event activities
    • Develop outreach activities specific to Cosmetics and Fragrances each season
    • Collaborate with the Sales Manager, Beauty Guide Managers, and Beauty Guides to identify opportunities to grow the Cosmetics and Fragrances business through upcoming events on specific brands
    • Be flexible to support the changing requirements of the events scheduled
  • New Credit Accounts, Email Capture, Auto Locate
    • Open new credit accounts to weekly standard
    • Capture customer email addresses to weekly standard
    • Complete Auto Locate transactions to weekly standard
  • Additional responsibilities as required
