What This Position is All About


Program Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the Enterprise Technology IT Project Management Office.  The PMO will establish and communicate the appropriate processes and procedures to ensure project management methodology is being executed across the organization.  The PMO Manager will manage 4+ resources to perform the following activities: creation of deliverable templates, review and assessment of Tech IT projects, providing project management tool support, creating appropriate weekly/monthly PMO reports, soliciting and reviewing project/portfolio financials. The role will also require collaboration with other key areas, Finance, Capital Planning, Procurement, Digital, to develop and implement additional processes and policies that support the strategic objectives of the Corporation.

  • Proficient with Project management tools (ex. Microsoft Project).
  • Proficient with MS Office tools including Visio, Word, and Excel.

  • Display a capacity to learn quickly and responds well to changes and opportunities.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable large leading meetings.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, delegate with a clearly defined responsibility and organize work well.
  • Devote appropriate attention to all responsibility, follow through consistently and be willing to accept ultimate responsibility; take positive action to meet growing responsibility.
  • Create effective teamwork and an environment conducive to developing cross functional groups.
  • PMP or Six-Sigma Certification Strongly Preferred.

You Also Have:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Management, Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Requires 5-8 years of applicable business experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience as a project/program management.
  • Experience in project management office desired.
  • Retail experience desired.

As The Program Manager, You Will:

Main Accountabilities
  • Create and maintain a consistent world class project management methodology and process for all project management engagements across the Enterprise Technology IT
  • Provide centralized control, coordination, and reporting of scope, change, cost, risk, and quality across all projects
  • This will include overseeing Software Delivery Lifecycle process  (including implementing and operationalizing stage gate process and performing periodic project reviews)
  • Provide overall IT project metrics and reporting related to PMO responsibilities
  • This will include weekly portfolio reports, monthly YTD financial summary, capital vs expense, etc.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes.
  • Coordinating monthly project status meetings.
  • Provide support for Enterprise Project Management tool.
  • Ongoing collaboration with other areas (Finance, Procurement, Legal, Internal Audit) to continue to provide process improvements and measure success.
