What This Position is All About:

  • The Manager, Order Management Systems Support will be responsible for managing HBC’s Order Management Systems, which supply other applications with the available on hand inventory for sale and then after an order is processed the orders for fulfillment and customer invoicing.

  • Direct a team responsible for addressing any application support tickets and emails, ensure system stability and monitoring, and deliver defect and enhancement code releases.

You Also Have:

  • University degree - Preferably in Computer Science or Engineering

  • A minimum of 5 years or more of experience with Sterling or other Order Management System

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to perform complex analyses and identify solutions to resolve specific business needs

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodology preferred

  • Persuasive communication skills, ability to present recommendations in a professional and impactful way

As The Order Management System (OMS) Support Manager, you will:

  • Ensure Order Management Systems are maintaining maximum up time with fewest possible issues. Establish and maintain relationships with business and IT stakeholders to effectively communicate the status of any issues and defects. Develop action plans necessary to address any issues and monitoring or processes improvements to prevent them going foward. Work closely with Product Managers, Development Teams, and ensure successful execution of any production changes

  • Maintain action plans, status reports, and routine meetings and communications

  • Manage Operating Expense software license and services budget

  • Develop, Coach, and mentor team members

  • Management vendor relationships and contract compliance

  • Business and Management requests for analysis
