What This Position Is All About:
The Java / Integration Developer is responsible for design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and implementation of integration development projects. This role will require delivering detailed design for API and micro-services development within the integration space. Being able to understand large enterprise level architecture, provide design recommendations, and work with cross functional application teams to provide the best solution to meet the project needs are crucial for the role. In addition, unit testing to verify logic of new or modified programs, create appropriate documentation for work assignments, and documentation of production support requirements are expected.

You Also Have:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in Information Technology within backend services development, integration, or API development and governance.
Experience in working on large scale projects within a large organizational setting
Experience building on Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure
Experience with Kafka or other message flow technologies
Experience in micro-services architecture and Kubernetes
Senior level experience in Java Development
Ability to develop complex mappings and workflows in accordance with integration requirements.
Outstanding ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing.
As The Sr. Developer, Integration Services You Will:
Designing detailed API specifications using JSON, YAML, or RAML modelling languages.
Creating technical documentation to describe the implementation
Design systems using micro-service architecture utilizing Spring Boot framework
Create Docker packages for deployment on Kubernetes platform for scalable solutions.
Using multi-cloud strategies to design for high availability, security, and auto scalability
Managing and governing through enterprise level API management tools
Ensuring development adheres to HBC development and configuration standards
Performing unit testing and work with project teams to resolve defects discovered during agile sprints and/or SDLC process
Conducting performance tuning as required on mappings and workflows.
