What This Position Is All About:


The Digital Marketing Specialist - Search will be responsible for supporting the Saks Fifth Avenue Digital Marketing team.  This role will report into the Manager, Search.  The Specialist will have ongoing interaction with cross-functional teams across the organization including but not limited to the Ecommerce, Creative, Integrated Marketing, and Analytics teams.  The successful candidate will work to accurately and efficiently express HBC’s marketing position, helping to drive results online and in our stores.

You Also Have: 

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2-3 years of digital performance marketing experience, including search marketing (agency and/or retail experience a plus)

  • Experience with Google AdWords, Bing Ads  Prior use of a bidding tool such as DoubleClick Search, Marin, or Kenshoo

  • Knowledge of online analytical tools like Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics

  • Experience with other Google Ads products (YouTube, display, gmail) or media buying platforms (DSPs, social platforms) a plus

  •  A willingness to initiate change as the company grows to streamline processes and improve efficiencies

  • Experience managing campaigns in Search Engine Marketing platforms (e.g., Google AdWords, Bing Ads)

  • Knowledge of online analytical tools a benefit (Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics)

  • 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, particularly with SEM/SEO

  • Strong understanding of Google Adwords

  • Prior use of a bidding tool such as DoubleClick Search, Marin, etc.

  • Experience with Omniture, Google Analytics, or another web analytics tool

  • Understanding of the E-Commerce retail landscape

  • Excellent English, written and oral
