What This Position Is All About:

The Senior Print Production Manager lead the Print Production team at Saks Fifth Avenue. They are a creative problem solver whose production expertise allows them to guide complex, yet cost effective development for catalog, direct mail, signage and print advertising. Strong leadership skills help them oversee production team and partner with creative and business teams, as they are accountable for the overall quality of work, ensuring goals are met and projects delivered on time and on budget.

Who You Are:

  • This position is responsible for both directly managing and overseeing direct reports management of all print projects from beginning to end. Inclusive of estimating, scheduling, vendor relationship management, paper ordering, print production quality.
  • Projects include: catalogs, magazine and newspaper ads, direct mail, gift cards and signage.
  • This position will manage the workload of the print production team, being the point of contact if issues are being escalated with any print projects.
  • The senior manager will partner cross functionally with marketing, creative and imaging teams to ensure we are producing the best product to meet goals, while remaining cost effective.
  • This position is responsible for bidding out of print projects different vendors, assessing and choosing the right partner for the job, balancing quality, timing and cost.
  • This position will manage and maintain annual direct mail budget, updating for monthly budget meetings, and oversee all invoice processing and approvals.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal business teams and external vendors.  
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing business priorities, and ensure overall project deliverables are met
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

 You Also Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in print production management.
  • 3-5 years of experience supervising production team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong base of general print knowledge and budgeting experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge of Wrike project management tool or similar application
  • Exceptional communication skills
