What This Position Is All About:

The Paid Social Specialist Role is responsible for executing and supporting paid advertising campaigns across all US HBC businesses: Gilt.com, Saks.com, Off5th.com, and LordandTaylor.com.

 

This role requires a demonstrated record of analytical rigor, creative problem solving, and flawless execution. The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of experience in online advertising.

In addition, this role provides exposure to a broad range of digital marketing disciplines and channels, and career growth opportunities across a fast-paced online retail business with visibility and opportunities to contribute across SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, Display and Mobile App.

 

Who You Are:

  • 1 or more years of direct experience managing paid social media ads with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding performance goals

  • In-depth understanding of key industry metrics and the ability to recognize how they might impact the business (ROAS, CPA, CPC, ROI, etc)

  • Tech savvy and comfortable using social and display ad management tools (Facebook Business Manager, FMP tool providers, DCM, etc)

  • Experience and/or interest working in the mobile app environment and services (mobile attribution and analytics platforms)

  • Familiarity with reporting platforms (i.e. Google Analytics, DoubleClick, Facebook, Looker, etc)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changes in business and market environment, and alter goals accordingly

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred

As the Specialist, Paid Social You Will:

  • Drive customer acquisition and engagement via Paid Social channels by planning, creating, evaluating and refining paid social campaigns that efficiently drive new and existing customer revenue.

  • Partner with data and analytics teams to analyze individual campaign performance to derive actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value – then own the execution of these new ideas start to finish with feedback from peers/manager/executives.

  • Coordinate Paid Social channel’s day-to-day trafficking, QA, test execution, optimizations, troubleshooting, targeting, producing ad copy and creative.

  • Partner with other teams within Tech, Product, CRM and beyond to support company marketing initiatives, and work with a broad set of internal stakeholders to formulate and test new ideas that improve overall business growth and customer audiences.

  • Build relationships with key publisher and marketing technology partners such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest etc.

  • Manage budget optimizations, pacing, and monthly budget forecasting

  • Identify and test emerging Paid Social products and opportunities
