What This Position Is All About:

The HR Generalist will contribute to the development of HR initiatives and execute programs to support the Corporate Merchant and Marketing teams based in NYC.

You Also Have:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of applicable progressive professional and business experience (HR and Recruitment experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience in a retail/merchant environment and interest and understanding of the fashion industry preferred.


As the Human Resources Generalist, You Will:

  1. Serve as the HRBP and manage the implementation of HR processes and initiatives for associates in assigned client groups
  2. Support information for all employee lifecycle events:
    - Partner with TAG to manage the job requisition process for Senior level roles
    - Own the full cycle recruitment process for Corporate hourly roles
    - Administer new hire, promotion and exit interview activities
    - Oversee New Hire Orientation planning and execution
    - Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience
    - Manage documentation for associate changes, including internal offer letters, salary, supervisor and position changes
    - Investigate and support resolution of Employee Relations issues in partnership with Senior HR team and legal department
    - Support the execution of employee engagement activities for the location
    - Liaise with support teams to manage general reporting and data requests
    - Coordinate the VISA process and annual budget to business needs.
  3. Support the HRBP team activities throughout the year:
    - Annual Review Process
    - Objective Setting Process
    - Roundtables
  4. Participate in and/or lead Corporate task forces and special projects
